ahaha 'Journey of Self Discovery', i realize that a lot of speakers do this. The best way to get a message across is to stay with your point and try not to steer off into different directions of hat you're presenting.
Yes you are correct, plenty of speakers get off topic which makes the audience loose interest. This is something lots of speakers need to work on before getting up in front an audience.
